Good burgers, made to order and promptly made. Nice establishment with large, roll-up garage-style doors that make it airy and open when the weather cooperates. Beer bar offering a mix of local (Alesmith) and craft-standards on draft, like 805, Space Dust, etc. with $4 happy hour drafts every day. Burgers are all Smash-style. That makes them really thin and crispy, plus they cook fast. I'm not the greatest fan of those, they tend to be dry as a result. The Cali-Burger was a great choice having 2 patties, pepper jack cheese, secret sauce, bacon, avocado and lettuce. I don't recall tomato being present. I had an optional over-easy egg added on top and the yolk added golden richness. Yum. Pro-tip: Get the burger to go and take it across the street to Fall Brewing. Much bigger, broader and eclectic fresh beer selection with chill ambiance and similar roll-up garage doors for a real Bier Garten experience.

Love the veggie burger & sweet potato fries. It's my go to place for a burger and brew. Their empanadas, though I didn't get one this time, are soooo sooo good. Seasonal pumpkin is my all time favorite. Anytime I'm in the mood for a delicious burger and brew, this is my go to place. There are so many choices on the menu and I look forward to trying each and every one!

went with a few friends, man who owns the restaurant gave great service and the food was amazing.

Rounding up from a 4.5 because the staff was very friendly. This place seems very clean and have a good beer selection. Shakes and burgers are really good, smash burgers have a great crispiness and crust. Will definitely be coming back to try other burgers!

Great first time in! Tried the sunrise burger (which was my favorite) and had the joint burger. Highly recommend. Friendly staff as well!

Wow! This place was great! Really loved the smash burger and appreciated the drink selection. The Great - The burgers were good The Good - The beer selection is pretty good! The Bad - The onion rings weren't anything special The Ugly - NA I am sad this spot is so far away from me but if I find myself in the area, I'll absolutely go back. The smash burger had great flavor as well as the bun!

Visited 11/01/2024 Hi Yelpers Been seeing this place for a short while now and decided to give it a shot. I'm not a big Smashburger guy because I prefer my burgers to have Rich Beef Flavor instead of just Seared Seasoning. Anyway had to try it anyway. First it is a nice clean Burger Joint with a Small Beer Bar. Decent selection of brew to choose from and Happy Hour Specials everyday. The large front windows all open to make it feel more like a large patio. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Food came in a relatively fast few minutes. The Menu is quite simple to order from and as Smash Burgers Go Prices are seam fare. I Chose The Triple Joint Burger ($13.99) with added Smoked Applewood Bacon. ($2.99) and an order of The Hash Brown Rings. ($7.99) That's right I said Hash Brown Rings not Onion Rings. Never have seen those before so I had to try them. Sadly highly overpriced at a little over a dollar each for only 6 small rings but they were Tasty. The Triple Joint Burger was a great Value for the money. Large, Juicy, and Flavorful. Nice combination of Flavors. I'm giving this place between 3 1/2 To 4 Stars. Although this wouldn't be at the top of my list of San Diego Best Burgers it still has a place in San Diego's Burger World of Choices. If you want something different it's worth checking out.
